The teams are there and Antonio Conte makes a change from the Spurs side who beat West Ham 3-1 before the international break. Emerson Royal replaces the injured Sergio Reguilon and Matt Doherty is expected to move to left-back. Harry Kane and Son Heung-min start in front.

Eddie Howe makes three changes from the XI which fell 1-0 at Everton a fortnight ago. Javi Manquillo replaces Emil Krafth at right-back, Jonjo Shelvey returns from injury in place of Bruno Guimaraes in central midfield and Allan Saint-Maximin, fit again, enters the top three in place of Miguel Almiron. Chris Wood starts up front, with Joelinton in midfield.

Spurs have won five of their last seven games to come within three points of fourth-placed Arsenal, rekindling their hopes of a Champions League return after a two-season absence. Volcanic manager Antonio Conte has selected an unchanged XI for his last three league outings, with the highly mobile front three of Kane, Dejan Kulusevski and Son Heung-min hitting their marks with increasing regularity. Rodrigo Bentancur added class in midfield and Cristian Romero added gnarly aggression at the back line.

Newcastle may have lost their last two matches, against Chelsea and Everton, but Howe’s hard work on the training ground is paying off as they look to end the season on a high. The Magpies won six of seven games from late January to mid-March – a run that got them out of trouble. Central midfielder Bruno Guimaraes is now at Premier League height, with fellow January newcomer Dan Burn leading the back four with aplomb since his arrival. Kieran Trippier remains on the sidelines.

The match kicks off at 4.30pm BST today, Sunday 3 April. Follow our guide on how to watch a Tottenham vs Newcastle live stream online, on TV and on your smartphone, wherever you are in the world.
