Complex celebrates Gemini season with a playlist featuring Kendrick Lamar and more

Complex commemorates the start of the Gemini season with a new playlist featuring nearly two hours of music from a number of prominent Geminis.

The playlist – available in full below – begins with back-to-back cuts from Lauryn Hillthe 1998 classic The bad education of Lauryn Hill. The audio journey then takes listeners through selections of Kendrick Lamar (including entries from his new album Mr. Morale and Big Steps), the artist formerly known as Kanye West (whose donda the then-track “Life of the Party” saw him bond with fellow countryman Gemini Andrew 3000), The notorious BIG, Princeand more.

Kendrick’s double album Mr. Morale and Big Steps, released this month, will soon be taken on the road with the recently announced Big Steppers Tour featuring support from Baby Keem and Tanna Leone. The 2022 dates begin July 19 in Oklahoma City and end December 16 in Auckland.

Meanwhile, a video for the track “N95” – which features on the new Complex playlist – was recently released. It was co-led by Dave Free and Kendrick, whose history of collaborative visuals is long and also includes previous album “The Heart Part 5”.
